i'm very happy with my v551. while i've never used the samsungs, i'd say go with the moto. this phone right here is among the best phones i've ever used. the feature set on this phone is, in my opinion, incredible, except it could use a little more memory. if you're not familiar with the features, i'm pretty sure you know where to go. and as far as issues with the battery are concerned as maybe you've seen on this forum in the past, i've never had a problem, and that the new phones do not have that problem, if you get a used one, there is a software upgrade you can do to fix the problem, you just need a usb cable that can be purchased on ebay for under $10. this phone is also pretty budget friendly, as mine only cost me $50, the cingul...

Having owned both phones, I can tell you that the p207 is a piece of crap. At least the one that I got was. The calls sounded like someone talking in a tin can and the shell was very slippery. There's also no data cable or interface software available as yet...so don't waste your money.

I've had the v551 for a day now and I already like it MUCH better. It feels more substantial and the call quality is infinitely better. Maybe I just got a bad unit, but I don't think I'll go back to Samsung...and that's saying a lot for me having had a P.O.S. V400

i personally like samsungs, i owned the samsung p104 for a while, and i liked it, and alot of my friends own the t-mobile samsung slider phone, its not too bad..i dunno, my opinion
