How to adjust Text Message Lenght
Currently, my V551 is only allowing a very limited amount of text to come through for incoming text messages. If I get it via an email forward, then it breaks it up into 5 text messages max. But if it is a SMS to my phone, it only shows about four lines and then no more (not even through a seperate text message). Anyone know how to adjust the lengh so that it shows a lot more?

Yeah, I'm having the same problem..I have the same phone, Motorola V551, I'm getting about 5 lines max. Basically the whole screen, but thats it. It shows me the Sender, then the message, then the time and date at the very bottom. I tried fixing it in "setup" but I don't seem to find anything to fix that. If anyone does know how to fix this, it would be awesome. Thanks

The SMS is SHORT messaging system. This allows 160 chrs per message so it will break it up to that. In order to send longer messages use your MMS. You dont have to connect a picture just send text and you can send MUCH longer messages.
