the built-in bluetooth driver that came with my laptop could find the phone but the only services it could find is a DialUp! (no synch, no ftp, etc...).

that's because the phone doesn't have those integrated blutooth services. I have a belkin bluetooth adapter running on Win XP SP2 and I can connect to the V551 fine. The only services the phone can do is dial-up and file push. To sync with outlook, you might want to try PIM push. It used to work fine with my SE T610, but I haven't tried it with the V551.

thanks for this info. i just realized that too after i've successfully connected to my notebook. it's a real bummer. so do anyone of you know what app can we use to sync the address book? will Motorola phone tools do the trick?

thanks!

I had the same problem with my Linksys USB/bluetooth. I went to Linksys website and found http://linksys.custhelp.com/cgi-bin/linksys.c fg/php/enduser/std_adp.php?p_faqid=1682&p_cre ated=1093459414&p_sid=RP7vvHsh&p_lva=&p_sp=cF 9zcmNoPTEmcF9zb3J0X2J5PSZwX2dyaWRzb3J0PSZwX3J vd19jbnQ9MSZwX3NlYXJjaF90eXBlPXNlYXJjaF9ubCZw X3Byb2RfbHZsMT00OSZwX3Byb2RfbHZsMj01OCZwX3NjZ l9sYW5nPTEmcF9wYWdlPTEmcF9zZWFyY2hfdGV4dD1zcD I*&p_li=

Maybe you can try something similar with your belkin.
