Has anyone successfully figured out MPT and this phone with xp SP2. Im having so many problems its rediculous. Its driving me nuts. I am now to the program seeing the phone but when it says to enter the pin and i do on the phone it doesnt pair up. Any help would be appreciated. Should i just go out and buy a dang usb data cable. ☹️

Mobile PhoneTools (latest online-updated version, 3.1 I think?) worked perfectly my first try, however I am connecting via a USB cable rather than Bluetooth. I got a non-Motorola data cable for my older T721 phone, and it worked great with my V551. Here's a link to a cheap place to get a USB cable that will work with your V551:
