Video Recording is too short!
I tested out taking a video recording yesterday and the phone would only allow ten second chunks of video to be taken.
Does anyone know how to change this setting so that I can take much longer videos?

It is not possible. Unfourtunately, tha V551 is capped at 10-15 seconds of video recording and playback.

i actually just found out today that if you go to video setup and click on video length that you can change the video length from mms which is only 10-15 seconds to maximum which is much much longer to record and then you can record as much as you want then press stop.

Go to menu>mymedia>videos>menu>videos setup>video length....then switch it to maximum(right scroll arrow) instead of MMS. I can get a longer video time using maximum. I have gotten as much as 1 minute depending how much memory is being used for pics stored, ringtones, phonebook etc. The downfall is you cannot email the video using max setting do to server limitations. Hope this helps. 🙂
