V551 vs. L1400

I'm about to re-up with Cingular for another two years, and i wanted to get a good phone this time. I am down between the LG L1400 and the V551. They both seem to have great features and both look good as well. What I like about the LG is that it has an external color screen, and in person the flip felt more sturdy when opening. The V551 has 5mb of memory, more personalization, a clearer screen (it looks sharper to me), and speakerphone. So, im stuck between the two, but i have a feeling i should go with the v551 although I really like the L1400. Does anyone have any opinion between the two??

Get the V551... The only thing the LG has over the Moto is external caller ID... but the v551 has better screen, speaker phone, High speed data, and bluetooth... I have the v551 and know a few people with the LG... Trust me, go with the v551!!!!!!!!

A friend of mine has the L1400. If you compare the V551 and the L14000, you would see that it beats it in almost everything except infared. So basically it has everything the L1400 doesnt. The only thing I personally like is the external color screen and like most LGs you can change the camera to different types. You can also take pictures with it closed( L1400 ). The three types of camera settings are sepia, black and white, ad normal.
