Its out now. See site http://www.mobilebee.com/PhoneDetailsID342.ht ml
It looks like the wait is about to be over. Only question I have is that the P910i is cheaper than the P910a. Does that mean that there were anymore upgrades that are included in the P910a that the P910i doesn't have.

I don't know if I trust that. T-Mobile is on 900MHz and the P910a is 850 MHz (AT&T/Cingular). Have you confirmed with T-Mobile that they carry this phone?

I do not want to go to T-Mobile. I was hoping Cingular would carry the phone. We had visitors from France here and he had one. It does everything and everything well. Expensive but worth it.

I talked to ATT/Cingular about this very thing yesterday. I managed to get all the way to a technical person who works with network setup to support the different types of phones (like statndrd GSM vs. Blackberry). She said that for the next few months they will be concentrating on getting the ATT and Cingular networks to work seamlessly together, so, do not expect much in the way of new phones. However, since ATT used to support the older p800 and the p910 is quite similar it should work well (this is me saying this not ATT). I would like to get a p910a myself; if I can lie to myself well enough to believe I have a good reason to spend $700+ on a phone. I have p800 now that I got on ebay for a good price after p900 was already out.

So far I have not seen anything that has QWERTY keyboard, large screen and the hundreds of applications available for the p910. If you know of something I would love to see it.

You can get this phone directly from SE's website with AT&T for $500 and free bluetooth headset!! It doesn't say contract length. Damn, I've been waiting for the S710a, but for only $100 more, the P910a sounds nice...hmmm

910a (850/1800/1900) is currently available in US direct from Sony Ericson site for $749 (unlocked I assume):

- http://shopwireless.sonyericsson.com/shop/pho ne/231012

If you go to "Buy Phone With Plan" tab, price gets better. For my zipcode the price is $499 for contract with ATT (ie Cingular).

910i (900/1800/1900) is available many places on web, but I'm not certain it's available with appropriate US (vs. European/Asian) electrical connections yet. Probablywant to double check this before buying. But my understanding from Phone Scoop an T-Mobile is that T-Mobile is solely on the 1900 band, so shouldn't matter whether you have 910a or 910i if you are going with T-Mobile service. (But I'm not expert, just trying to figure this stuf...

Personally I LOVE AT&T 😁 and will not leave until they drag me away. I have a grandfather plan of "UNLIMITED ANYTIME MINUTES" for $49.99 per month.

The customer service since they joined with Cingular has been THE WORST!! 👿 !!! Cingular sucks. I work for lockline (wireless insurance) so I deal with all of the carriers everyday, and AT&T by far was the Best when it comes to Servicing their customers.
