Voice Dialing: is it speaker dependant or speech recognition?
Is the voice dialing done by speaker-dependent (recorded) or is speaker-independent (recognition) like on the moto mpx 220?

The Audiovox does speaker-dependant (recorded voice tags) versus the MPx220 which does speaker-independant voice reco. The main advantage, though, of the Audiovox is that voice dialing can be performed via a BT headset whereas the voice recognition in the MPx220 must be performed via the handset or a wired headset only- not via a BT headset.
I own the MPx220 and although it's much easier to use than the voice tagged style of the Audiovox, I never use the voice dialing feature because it cannot be done via a BT headset.
