I have a belkin bluetooth adapter and I installed those drivers and put bluetooth programs on my computer. I uninstalled that because I dont like trash on my computer (two things that do the same thing). I am running XP SP2 and am using the bluetooth software that comes standard with that.

Firstly, pair your devices...you say thats no problem, then youre good with that.

(Insert this step here only if didn't work without it)
Go to Settings->Data Connections
Change your "Internet" to Automatic

Go to Internet Explorer
Menu->Options->select Internet int he drop down list if not already selected.

Go to ActiveSync
Menu->Connect With BlueTooth
Accept the Connection when the XP message pops up...watch it active sync

I dont like to leave Internet set on automatic because my antenna icon always shows that Im connected to GPRS and I dont know why. it scares me.

QUESTIONS FOR YOU:
Does Windows XP message pop up asking you to accept the request for a connection?

Have you active synced without bluetooth yet?
