I can sync over bluetooth just fine. Browse files and copy them to my phone. I sync both with my PC and an exchange server. Not sure why you all are having such a hard time. First you have to pair your device....easy. Go to Bluetooth settings and devices -> new...if you haven't done so. Now, mind you, I made sure to sync without bluetooth at least once before I sync WITH bluetooth...just as a note. Then I go to activesync with my 5600, push link....then a little message will pop up on windows XP. The message will resquest your approval for the acceptance of the connection. I clicked...OK and set the checkbox for "never ask me this again." After I clicked okay, it synced. And synced ever since. I ahd some problems syncing to the server last night but it syncs with the computer no problem. and I HAVE synced with the server before...so I know it works.
