Normal users, read before you buy!

Just finished talking with AT&T sales reps, and they told me that the voice plans that come this plan do not have unlimited nights and weekends. I.E., if the plan says "400 anytime minutes" that's ALL you get, anything over costs per minute.

I find this deplorable. I want this phone, because it's a cool phone. But I want it as a PHONE. I'm not a business user, so I'm paying my own phone bill, and there's no way I'm paying $100 a month to use this phone.

Maybe you business users won't be too disturbed by this, but I find it despicable.

So does this...

So has anyone talked to anyone in a store?

This is a smartphone and is treated as such.

First the phone gets a data plan: In this case a 24.99 unlimited internet plan.

Second the phone gets the voice plan:
ANY Plan that is available in your area is available on the device.

If you want a 39.99 local plan with nights an weekends that is what you get.

If you want a 59.99 plan with early evenings.

And when Cingular and ATT Merger expect higher prices for data.
