I've seen posts verifying that the 512Mb mini SD cards work with the 5600. I'm tempted by the 1Gb. Has anyone tried it?

I'm waiting on a scandisk to be delivered as we speak...I'll let you know once I get it. There is a review that says he's got a 1GB in the phone though.

Okay, so I won't go into the fiasco that I had to go through to get this thing, but I got my 1Gb mini sd card today and it does work 😁 . The thing of it is is that I can't get media player to read from the memory card rather than the phone's memory. If anyone has any tips toward this, let me know, or if this is how it works, it would be nice to know as well.🙄

Yeah, it's really annoying...if I want to hear a song, I have to go through file manager, and then it only plays them one at a time...I'll keep y'all posted if I figure something out. 😕

Okay, I feel like a complete dumba**. 😲 This being my first experience with mobile windows media, let alone a media card, I guess I didn't know to look for this. The fix for it was to go into media player, hit menu, hit 3 for library, and choose storage card. DUH! 🤭 I knew there had to be a way to make the stinkin' thing read the memory card. But for the record of this post, I have a scandisk mini sd with 1gb that I got for about eighty bucks on ebay and it works great! Haven't done any movies yet, but music files work fine.
