When you say you cannot get ActiveSync to load, what exactly do you mean? How are you installing it? What operating system (XP Home, HP Pro, etc.) are you using? Do you have enough room on your hard disk?

I am installing with the audiovx cd. I have XP. I think part of the problem is I had a bad install with the mpx 200. The new install says that it is replacing the old one but it does not finish installing.

That could absolutely be an issue. May want to check with Microsoft's web site about install/uninstall problems with ActiveSync for starters. Go to:
