miniSD card capacity on this phone?

Hey, I read a review in PC Mag (http://www.pcmag.com/article2/0,1759,1674705 ,00.asp?p=2) that indicates this phone accepts miniSD cards up to 256MB in size. Is this true? I read somewhere else that the MPX220 would accept the 512MB miniSD cards. Given that they both have the same OS, I'm very surprised to hear that these two phones would be different. Can someone confirm what size miniSD card the 5600 will accept?

Thanks.

Unlike smartmedia, I believe any device that uses miniSD cards can use any size miniSD card. 512MB miniSD cards are pretty new and may not have been available when Audiovox stated that the 5600 can utilize sizes up to 256MB.

I just purchased this phone but dont have an miniSD. Im wondering what the max miniSD size is that this phone will accept? If you give a size are you currently using it in the phone?
Are there any recommendations, also?
Thanks

I just got my new Toshiba 512M miniSD ($109.00)card last week and it works just fine!

If you are willing to wait I'm sure the price for the 512M will get down dramatically this month.

A 512 MB miniSD will work on your phone.

Does anyone know if the 1GB mini SD card works in this phone? I just ordered a Cingular 2125 and heard that it is basically the same phone as the 5600. Does anyone know if the 1GB mini SD card works in this phone? I want to max out the memory.

Thanks!

I've got a 1GB in mine...haven't been able to fill it though yet, so I don't know if I've broken the 512MB barrier.
