It's not even on my listings as of yet, so if, and I mean IF, we do carry it, most like expect it around Christmans or such.

Who cares about your listings. Everyone knows that the industry workers know just about as much as outsiders do. I went into a T-Mobile store this past Sunday to ask a few questions so I could humor myself. I asked if there were any new phones coming out soon. One employee said "I don't Know." Another employee said "We go new accessories for one phone but I don't know what it is." Then Monday comes around and T-Mobile releases a Siemens Flip Phone. These employees of T-Mobile didn't know about a phone, a day before its release. Pathetic.

Right now Cingular is the only GSM company in the United States with real plans for PTT. So this phone will most likely come out for cingular. Probably in 2005. The deal with ATT will be comple...

To bad ATT and Cing are scaring off all their customers. 🤣 What a sad and Pathetic state they are in, two crappy companies merging into one enourmous crappy company. 🤣 Learn to keep your current customers then merge. You can have the coolest phones, the most up to date network and the cute roll over commercials and that still doesn't matter. As soon as your customers complete their contract they dump you on the side of the road like the flea infested verments you are. It's customer satisfaction and loyalty that make a good company. In order to achieve that the employees need to actually believe in the company. All the rest is secondary.

Thank you for sharing, but your rant is misguided. Where exactly are Cingualar and AT&T's customers going? T-Mobile? well if you're in California & Nevada, you're still using Cingular's network. New York? If you were a Cingular customer, you were probably using T-Mobile's network already. Verizon? Pay more money for minutes, and get nickel and dimed for everything by a luddite company that won't even allow a proper Bluetooth unit to be released?

It might feel nice to make sentimental statements like 'learn to keep your customers, then merge" but in the end it's hollow, and frankly uninformed. This merger was all about Whitacre (CEO of SBC) building an empire, and keeping Vodafone and Verizon locked up. If Vodafone had successfully bought ...

man UO95, did you say it or what.
i agree about ed Whiticre wanting to build an empire. SBC has grown to have the most DSL subcribers of any telephony company and gaining ground on comcast in subscribers. like i said in an earlier post; cingular is backed by SBC and Bell South, these guys will stop at nothing to be the best. cingular looks more attractive when you can get: cellular(cingular;rollover, competitive plans),dsl, pots(plain old tel servc),ld(long distance), and satellite tv(dish networks) all on one bill with a discount inside the sbc 13 state home. i have all of the services and i love them.
it's about survival of the fittest. the company that can offer the most services combined at a competitive price and exception...

i am with cingular now. the only complaint i have which you can have with any of the other companies is that the employees act like someone just hit them in the face with a shovel. every service from verizon to nextels employees that i have met and talked to which has been quite a bit lately are all retards. my plan is about to run out so i was going to go with nextel (right now i am cingular) but they are just as helpful. so i think i will just get the sidekick from t-mobile because that phone fits my needs the best

I guess that means I'm pathetic also. If you come to me asking if there are going to be any new phones coming out, I'd tell you the same thing.

We're not allowed to say anything. If I tell you "we're getting new phones in a few weeks", I bet you wouldn't buy any phone that day but would WAIT til the new phones came out. We want you to buy a phone THAT day, not wait until some other day.

I believe that's why the T-Mobile salesperson told you that. (I work for Cingular, BTW 😁)
