The 8 million probably unanswerable questions I have...

Okay, so I have a million questions about this phone.

First off, I have Cingular, and apparently the only way a phone will work is if it's 850/1800... I remember that it has to be 850 in the beginning. I live in South NJ, if that helps anybody.

So the problem is, supposedly there is an 850 version, but I can't find that anywhere. And everybody thinks this phone is going to be picked up by Cingular, so if everybody is so sure about that, why won't they say that on any website?

And, finally, does anybody have any idea when this phone is coming or what's holding it up so much? Is it the push-to-talk?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Yeah, I heard the same thing that there is going to be an 850 version, but I can't find it anywhere either.

BTW, as far as I know Cingular uses the 850/1900MHz band (At least it dooes here in San Diego, CA.), so the phone should work even if it is not 850.

The difference is that the 850MHz band seems to penetrate into buildings better than the 1900, so that means better reception in malls, hosptials, office buildings, etc..

I was very interested in this phone until Cingular chose to get the the Motorola MPx220 Smartphone. It's quadband (850/900/1800/1900). I don't care what all the other people say about the phone, it works beautifully here in San Diego. Also the 1.2MP camera on the phone seems to work much better with the Bluet...
