Does HTML w/ TCP/IP mean it can support regular websites too? I'm desperately looking for a phone that can surf the net like a sidekick but there's nothing around!

How about being nice and answering the question.

I believe that since it has HTML that this is normal browsing as if you were on a normal computer using a internet browser such as safari or explorer.
My friend has a sidekick and uses HTML and loves it. Although the screen size is ridiculously small they have a system of making it work better for the small screen without altering the website to much.

I am also waiting for this phone and looking forward to this feature.

Yes, one of the great features of the Symbian OS (Nokia's branding is the Series 60) is that it supports external applications. It has an html browser built-in, and it supports a downloadable third-party browsers like Opera, however, you must purchase the data service from your service provider to gain access to the data.
