Phone does work in Europe

I know the specs page indicate that the phone works in Europe (1800 Mhz). But the Cingular site make no reference to this. Hence I was skeptical of it's capabilities.

However, I'm happy to report. That this phone worked flawlessly in Europe. I only had a chance to test in the UK and Germany. But I have no reason to believe I would have any troubles in the rest of Europe. Much like my Nokia 6100 tri-band phone. The only caveat being that you have to manually switch the bands. The Nokia does this automatically....oh well

I kinda wish the 1400 was tri-band as well. But I 've still got the 6100 for that. Besides, I spend alot more time in Europe than Asia.

Now all I gotta do is figure out how to unlock this thing so I can use ...
