I don't say this kind of thing often, but TCPMP rocks!! Beats the snot out of WMP9 and from what I've seen, it's simply the best media player for the pocket PC. Plays all sorts of formats right out of the box, including MPEG. You might be surprised to find that some files play well enough under TCPMP that they don't need to be converted first!

The one thing that briefly stumped me was figuring out which files to download and install for my XV6600. For other XV6600 owners who might have gotten confused by the plethora of files listed for download, you can either grab tcpmp.smartphone.0.71.exe (or whatever version is current) and install that from your PC and sync, or you can grab tcpmp.arm.cabs.0.71.zip, extract tcpmp.arm_ce3.cab, move it to your XV6600 and open/install it. If you find yourself needing the extra codecs (provided as additional .zip files), extract and open/install the .cab files that have ARM_SP in the name. (The ARM_SP files are for WM2003SP smartphones -- that's what your XV6600 runs.)

Mucho thanks to kiint for recommending TCPMP!
