hey everyone...i recently bought the treo 650 and am annoyed at how to get ringtones (buying the $30 software that only works with the $80 expansion card). i am now considering the xv6000 and i have a few questions?

-how do you get ringtones?
-do you have to have an expansion card to get them?

and any other other info would be greatly appreciated

Ringtones are stupidly simple... lol, just use an audio program; like goldwave "www.goldwave.com" to edit and save your file.. You can crop, speed up, and even increase the volume of the song.. Thirty seconds is a pretty good ringer lenght.. Once you've "edited" the ringer just save it as a .wma file and you can save it via the cradle or an SD card to the phone... Once available on the phone all you do is hold the pen to it and select "Save as ringtone"... hope this helps.... DL darionlear@hotmail.com
