😳 For me, I just copy movies via the active sync (slow), or just copy it directly to my card (faster). Just make sure your lower your video ratios and all that 'video' stuff so it can fit.

As far as DL'ing them, with IE your kinda limited as it uses windows media player to play video (thats if your trying to watch windows media files). (WIndows Mobile 5 BETTER handle this!)

I use PocketTV for other video formats and associate the formats in my Netfront browser so that they can play as I 'click'. Thats or just save the files to the card (downloading) then play it from a video player.

Windows Mobile 5 is a mute point with the PPC-6600, because Audiovox didn't have the foresight to make it upgradeable. This is one reason I've held off buying the XV6600 (Verizon's EVDO Version), and am looking seriously at the Samsung i730, which Samsung said is upgradeable.

Windows Mobile 5 has some great improvements, including major improvements in the one handed phone operation (important when you are doing 80mph down the freeway and want to call dial-a-joke without a hands free set), and better data protection when your battery dies, another important feature given the battery performance of the 6600.

Ive been looking at the Samsung i730 (online). Its rumored to have a 1.3mp cam, built in wi-fi, and better yet VZW will be carrying it. It looks just as good esp. if it can hold WIndows Mobile 5.0

From the pix ive seen it looks kinda thick and bulky? WHat do you think?

And Ive read "Also, Verizon made no mention of WiFi, which is a feature of the i730 according to FCC documents. It's possible that Samsung removed WiFi as part of negotiations to get the phone picked up.". VZW cant be that communistic!

I TOOK 2 ( TWO ) I 730'S BACK TO VERIZON BECAUSE THE WI-FI DID NOT WORK ON EITHER . AS FOR MOVIES I USE WINDOWS MEDIA ENCODER TO CRUSH THE FILE TO A 20 FPS WIDESCREEN FORMAT , WORKS EVERYTIME , MOVIES LOOK AND SOUND GOOD AND DONT TAKE UP SO MUCH SPACE.
