confused about Bluetooth capability (ActiveSync?)
I'm confused about the Bluetooth capability (VIA Verizon). I'd like to use ActiveSync but without having to dock the 6600. I see mention about syncing Outlook VIA Bluetooth DUN.
I can't imagine how I could use DUN to sync with my laptop unless it's a matter of diverting ActiveSync through the COM port that the DUN thinks it's attached to?
The rep at the Verizon store said I CAN sync using Bluetooth. But the rep is a sales person and they'll say anything you want to hear. I just have a feeling VZE isn't going to allow me to make a Bluetooth sync to my laptop for FREE???

I sync via Bluetooth all the time. Just setup a bluetooth serial connection between your computer and the 6600 and you will have a bluetooth activsync link in bluetooth manager.

PS: you can also dialup the internet (data connection) and use DUN to connect your computer wirelessly to your 6600 using bluetooth so you can dialup while at the airport, etc without the cable.

Did you ever figure out how to get the device to sync via the blue tooth? I got it to do it once, but had to reset my phone and forgot how I did it... Let me know... 😕
