cant open some websites

can someone tell me why i cant open some websites and ohers open with no problem

Only if you can tell us what you mean by "can't open" and perhaps provide us some example sites. 🙂

Otherwise, all you'll get is guesses and general answers like "maybe loading those sites requires too much memory, or software you don't have installed" and that sort of thing...

sites like ureach.com or aol. there are alot of sites that have other links and when i hit them it doesnt do anything

I tried the sites you mentioned and see what you mean. AOL did shoddy browser detection and says "you must upgrade your browser." Bad on AOL. Ureach presents a homepage where all the text is contained in images, which Pocket IE dutifully scales down to unreadable. Bad on Ureach and Micro$oft.

Sadly, these kinds of problems are all too common in a world full of over-zealous web developers with tunnelvision. Maybe some day they will realize that a bloated or badly designed web site that looks fantastic, but only works with certain browsers has limited value and ultimately hurts them. This is bound to be more and more true as the population of mobile web surfers increases.

perfect example: my service is through sprint but i cant even access the features on sprintpcs.com. i have the same problem on other sites and this is only when they finally open
...
