It is already out, I got mine today, the problem is that sprint has not posted it to their web page, but if you call customer service you can order it.

I called they said the 6601 is available but Not the 6600. Which one do you have?

6601, FYI I am having some trouble getting proper tech support since this device is so new that they don't even have support info loaded for their reps.

I'm in Chicago. According to Sprint yesterday, they offer the 6601. It is a new product for them. Don't offer EV-DO in Chicago, and not sure when. Say the "dial-up" speed is 40-70-140K (said most of the time 70K, sometimes 140K). Said Milwaukee has the EV-DO speed now.
I talked with Verizon and they knew nothing about the 6600 or 6601.
