Getting it, What do I do first?

I am getting a slightly used sx66 with 2003SE. What should I do with it first. I want to update and install before I load all my info from my old palm. I downloaded SX66Update, Should I do that first? Then anything else I should load? Want to be sure it is set before I download and then loose info later. Hate reinstall. Never used PPC yet. Very Happy
