Touch screen

Oct 23, 2004, 10:48 PM
The Samsung does not have touch screen capabilities-how do you input information into the phone such as appointments? The palm phones have touch screens and I like that. I am curious how to input stuff besides syncing with desktop. Any thoughts?

Microsoft Smartphones do not have touch screens. Same as Nokia's Series 60. That is the point. That is what separates Windows Mobile Smartphones from Windows Mobile Pocket PCs.

A "smartphone" is a phone first, not a PDA. You enter text using T9 on the keypad, like any other phone.
