Will my SK2 work outside USA?

I will be visiting Dakar, Senegal in Africa in November and I was wondering if it was worth bringing my Sidekick along? I'm sure at least some of the features will still work but will the phone and data services such as web browsing, email & IM work?

I don't think the data part will work, since you will be roaming, but you can ask T-Mobile. Also, make sure you add the WorldClass Roaming feature to your account, so you will be able to roam and make calls outside of the US. You can only roam if you are on a Post-paid account. If you are on a prepaid account then you will not be able to use the phone on T-Mobile's service, since prepaid doesn't allow roaming outside of the US.
