The Razr will not be released by T-Mobile. It is going to Cingular only. Look for it at Cingular around the 2nd week of October.
Also the phone should start being available from "wireless" suppliers as unlocked phones this week. Apparently they are coming from Germany the beginning of this week and should be in the hands of the vendors by Wednesday 9/29.

you can check ebay.. why dont you get the i710 it gives better RF performance then the terrible i730..
...
if you live litterly right next to a tower you will have good reception, however if you dont you will have terrible reception. (experienced that)
