MP3 directory or contents file do not exist

i bought a 256 mb Mini sd card today, it fits in the phone perfectly, i used the scandisk transfer thing that plugs into the USB and added a few songs...i put the card in the phone....and i get this "MP3 directory or contents file do not exist"

the card type is ATP MINI SD (with adapter)

make sure you format the card on the phone before using it..

how would i go about that? this is the first time ive used removable memory like this. 😕

put the card into the phone.
go to menu->setting->mini sd card.
there you can format the card.
after formatting, you'll see 3 folders, 'MP3' 'Image' 'Video'.
put mp3's in MP3 folder.
if you want to copy an image taken by the phone to the sd card, the image is copied to 'Image' folder.
the same works for 'Video'..
