went to my local telus dealer and found the display model of the LG 535, OMG it's beautiful 😁 the slide is solid and it's a nice package (sprint version looks better). It is however a bit pricey @ $250 on a 3 year contract so about $400 - $450 non-contract. Again, all i saw was the promo model so couldn't see how it functions. Mixed answers on a release date though. some dealers are telling me May - June and others are telling me anytime now. But my guess would be soon since the telus store has the display phone.

I bought one last week. 😁

The Telus Website said it was ~$250 with a 3 year contract but when I actually purchased it at the dealership I was given a deal of $199.99 for the phone on a 3 year contract. I absolutely love the phone. Does everything I want except has no Bluetooth ... so can't go that route.

The video and camera both work well, but it's definitely best to avoid using the digital zoom feature with the video capture in particular (gets very pixelated).

I have only one real complaint -- these phones are so new to Telus that there is virtually no content for download yet. The games, tools and many other areas are empty. Only ringtones and wallpaper have products for download.

😳 😳 😳 3 year contract!?!?!?!?!? WOW! I haven't heard of a 3 year contract since I bought my very first phone back in 1991. Things must be different to the North. What is the price without a contract? On average here a phone is generally $100-$200 more without a contract, didn't know if it was the same across the border.

yeah, we don't have very many providers to choose from, so the kinda stick it to ya'. The phone cost about $400 with out the contract, and for every year you sign up you get about $50 off up to 3 years ($150)
