If you want bluetooth switch to a GSM carrier. Wait for Cingular to release the Sony Ericsson S710a. Good contender to the Sanyo 5600.

I would prefer Bluetooth on all carriers. There is no justifiably good reason for CDMA carriers not to push this technology as well.

Most carriers do have Bluetooth-enabled phones (well, partially enabled in Verizon's case 🙄 ). But not many customers actually have a need for it yet- I think it will be a few years before that happens.

I know I'm getting this phone despite the fact that it doesn't have Bluetooth, but worse comes to worse you have to use an adapter to be able to use your wireless headsets.

Doesn't matter if it has it or not. Sprint would have them cripple the bluetooth on this model like they did on their other LG. You can't do obex transfers, hence you either have to use their picture mail to get your photos off or a cable if available. They're greedy.

Some phones would be perfect if they had bluetooth. I just hate it when they make a phone with every feature you want EXCEPT BLUETOOTH! Ever wonder why they do that?

I know! I personally would never consider a phone high-end unless it had Bluetooth. What are these companies thinking making a phone with everything but Bluetooth. I would rather have Bluetooth than have a camera. ( but cameras are important too)

Probably because no one except phone snobs like us and business users even know what BT is, let alone what they would want to have it. Most people don't have a use for it yet

I see people using bluetooth all the time. Then again they are most likely business users! 🤣
