mp3 ringtone help!
hi all,
im currently with telus...how do i go about getting my ring tone to be an mp3 file???
i have a mini sd card and card reader, the mp3 player works great...there is no setting for changing the ringtone to an mp3 file..
any help would be great!

ok i cant figure out how to put the ringtones on the minsd card...i feel like such a retard but i need sum help....i can get it to the point where it displays that is has the song on the card but keeps tellin me its in the wrong format...if anyone can give me a step by step walk through of how to go about this it would b GREAT...thanx for the help!

well there is a way to upload your mp3 as ringtones, but that doesn't have anything to do with sd card.
you need a datacable and a program which can be downloaded free of charge from the web.
it's actually hacking your phone, so looks a bit risky and illegal..
but once you get to know the steps, it's piece of a cake..

You can also go to 3gupload.com, become a member; then send any mp3 on your computer's hard drive to your phone and it will work as a ringer. It works without any problems or hacking.

I just got this phone on Tues., & I'm still trying to figure it out. Could you pretty please tell me where the downloadable program can be found?
Also, how do I get MP3's that are stored on my PC hard drive onto the phone's storage card? Is all I need a data cable, or is it more complex than that? Any help would be greatly appreciated!!!!
