Yes, I've had this issue too with my LG phone (this model). It gets a bit annoying, and I noticed that the car charger just "quick" charges the phone so it cannot be depended on. The A/C charger though (wall charger) is a bit more reliable. I purchased my phone in December of 2005, and I believe that my battery is losing its ability to keep a charge as time goes one.
