no, this phone does not support the OBEX profile, so no files can be transferred over bluetooth, AT ALL.
Sorry to burst your bubble, but it was so that sprint would have you pay for picture mail to be able to get them off the phone (unless you purchase futuredial's cable and software.) so it looks like you'll have to pay a couple bucks to get the photos off it.
One way speakerphone means that when you select "monitor on" in a call, it will amplify the volume of the speaker and mute the microphone. Don't know why they did this but it's there.
In terms of a different bluetooth phone with a different carrier, I don't know why you'd sacrifice sprint for this minute feature, I would just get the future dial cable and software, Not that I promote pirating (nor do I question where these come from), but I'm fairly certain that ebay has these for a couple bucks.
If you really don't care, then there are definitely phones on other carriers that have the OBEX profile on them, it'll take some searching though. Have fun.
