Voice dialing with blue tooth?
I've had the phone for 4 days and am happy for the most part. I have been trying to use my Motorola HS820 headset. I can answer calls, take call waitings, end calls, but cannot make calls. I have entered voice dials in my phone and they work great without the headset. The manual for the phone gives no details and the headset manual says to make a short depression of the multi function button and speak the name. I get no response. The best I can get is with a long depression the keyboard will light up but no other response. What am I doing wrong.

I was having the same problem. Try uninstalling the earpiece and re-installing it. Right after it asks you for the 0000 code it will go to a screen where you have a choice of what the button will do. The default is nothing, so you have to change it to voice dial.

I have tried pairing again, but after I endter the 0000 code it doesn't take me to a screen asking about buttons. Anybody have any ideas? I love the phone, but need the voice dialing to work with the headset.

Go to the Bluetooth menu, select the headset.
Go to "Key Prompt" and set it to "Voice Dials".
You should be able to press the button and say
the name. I use it all the time. The only
issue is that you can not record the voice dial with the headset so it might not recognize the command. I have not tried the voice command, so I am not sure how well that works.

If that doesn't work, then it is paired as a headset rather than a handsfree.
I was not able to pair the HS820 in the handsfree profile for a customer, it only worked in the headset profile.
Other headsets I've seen work in the handsfree profile are:
I-Spirit DKH-03
Bluetrek G2
Body Glove (fellowes) Blue Voice
You may need to look at other brands of models if it ends up not working for you.
