What a concept: a phone that has as many or as little features as you want

LG has a good start with this phone, but being in the business of cell phones, I have had plenty people that agree with others in this forum. They (sanyo/samsung/lg/nokia/toshiba/etc) should make a phone line that has multiple models, we want all models to have a flip phone, external call id, bluetooth (maybe other WiFi formats), great battery life, awesome screen, and most of all durability. For the low end model, we want a speaker phone that is not necessarily tied to ready link (but capable if needed, and not bulky, I've seen it done) and that's about it. For the higher end model, we want a video camera, voice activated dialing, improved web interface, software that accepts MS documents (for transfer over BT), better polyphonic ringers th...

i agree - i don't expect that all manufacturers will pull this off, but i think sprint ought to make sure that they have at least a couple of these basic, solid models.

both of sprint's new bluetooth smartphones come with or without camera, but of course they weigh 6-7 ounces, cost a ton, and are digital-only. the 325 (or something similar) should have a camera/no camera option too - they really are lacking a basic business phone that meets the standards you lay out.

i think a lot of the problem is that they don't want a really solid, complete basic model b/c they want you to pay more for more than you need. car manufacturers do the same thing (on my friend's civic LX you can't unlock all the doors by turning the key twice - you have...
