I agree. this phone looks friggin UGLY in these pics. Hopefully it will look somewhat more appealing in real life.

Looks aren't a super big deal to me though. It looks INCREDIBLY pocketable, and that's where it counts IMO.

Question: Is that a mirror right next to the caamera or a flash?

In the big photos, it sure looks a lot like a mirror. Doesn't have the ridged detail that the flashes do, but this could just be a mockup, too. I'm happy for you guys... I just hope Sprint doesn't make the mistake Verizon did and cripple OBEX support. (No, wait, yes I do! 😁 ) It is tres de annoying. I like the slide cover on it, but it reminds me of the delicacy of the Smasung Matrix phone and the Kyocera Slider... In the long haul, that slide point is going to become a failure point on the handset. Unless, of course, it is substantially different from the Kyo phones.

Definitely a mirror. Pretty much all of the camera phones have them now. They claim it is so you can take pictures of yourself.

I have been waiting for another BT phone from sprint for a long time (last attempt was the Sony T608, which is no longer around.) I too am disappointed that they chose to do a slider phone, but I have faith that they have learned from previous mistakes. Remember when flip phones used to always come unhinged? Also GSM phones have been using sliders for a while, so I think they learned from that. Maybe not, maybe this phone will have a failure point on it, but just get the insurance from Sprint for $5/ month, and when it does break, get a new one. A flip/vid-cam/multimedia/Blue Tooth/Ready-Link phone would cost about 700 bucks, and be about as big as an old school '80's phone, so until the technology gets smaller and more advanced, I'll be sat...
