Syncing one bluetooth phone to another

When I try to do this the Lg finds the other Bluetooth phone but it asks for a pin to pair to. What do I enter? I have tried several different #'s but it fails. Any ideas?

The way pairing works is you send a paring request, the other phone receives it and the owner inputs a number (any number) then the signal goes back to you where you have to imput that number in your phone. This is for security reasions, so people dont go up to each other and steal info from each others phone.
