I live in the colorado rocky mountains, and snowboard often. There is usually less signal strength throughout the valleys and canyons on the way up to the resorts. However, this phone seems to do extremely well (At least for me) whereas my friend's t-mobile phone doesn't even work until we get to the resort, and my brother's sanyo 8100 (sprint) get's signal most of the way, but will drop a call if the signal starts to fade at all.
