Syncing LG PM325 with laptop

Jabra

Dec 9, 2004, 4:28 PM
I just got my new LG PM 325, unable to connect it to my bluetooth enabled laptop. I know Sprint did some stupid things to disable this stuff, does any know of any hacks to makethis work?

Let me know...

It depends on exactly what you want to do with the laptop, if you want to use the LG as a wireless modem, then you just go to "waiting for pairing" on the LG, and then search for the phone from the laptop. Enter your passkey, and it should say accepted. Then when you have vision on your account, you can connect to the Internet through the phone. I have set up my Sony Clie PDA to do this. (it should say something to the effect of "DUN profile") As far as I know, you are not able to sync your phone book, or pictures or anything as such. Also I am unable to send contact information between the phone and pda.

it is supposed to. Sprint does not support this feature (similar to their animosity toward future dial's "SnapDialer" software) so they will NOT supply any tech support for this, but you can go into SprintPCS.com, go to your account, click on "phone details" and find the download for your OS on your laptop. I have not actually done this, so I am unsure if this works or not. If someone gets it to work, please post a reply.
