Anybody seen V262-2?

I was reading in the users reviews about the fixed V2622 version, but US Cellular claims never having heard of it. (All their boxes are marked V262.) Has anybody actually seen them?

All of them are -2's right now because they fixed some speaker problem...they just referred to them as version 2 to tell before and after the fix. I don't think anybody actually changed the model number of the phone because the design looks the same to me and all the boxes are still the same. USC didn't show up on this site until last, so maybe they never even got the crappy version.

I spoke with the supervisor at one of the USC stores yesterday. She said that they're aware of the speaker problem and after having returned a number of defective V262s to Motorola, Motorola began sending them the parts and they're told how to make the repair in the stores. Now, she said, the V262s they receive have the problem fixed, but the label still says V262. She said that each phone has a code by which they know, by checking a computer database, if this is the fixed phone or not. She said that, to her knowledge, they have no defective V262s left on the shelf.

I may have one of the leftover defective ones. I just got my phone and the speakerphone worked only once. I can't even listen to my ringtones. Any help would be appreciated.
