When I'm on the phone..
When I'm on a call, and someone calls me, they get a different ring pattern than you'd hear if I wasn't using the phone.
I may not want the new caller to know that I'm on the pnone and not interested in picking up their call that very second.
How can I change the setting so the caller doesn't get a different ring pattern?

i have never heard of that in my life, that would be a carrier issue if anything.

I've heard people tell me that when I'm on the phone and they call me, after they hear the ring, they get a beep, which indicates that i'm on the phone. I've tried to turn this feature off also, but can't seem to find what I need to look for. Also, I believe the other party only hears the beep, if they too are a Verizon customer.
