My wife's new 265 has a very high pitched constant tone in the background even when not making a call. Is this normal for this phone? Its quite annoying and distracting. My Sammys and LGs have always been totally silent.

NOTE: Already tried turning off the backlight to see if that was causing the noise. Didn't work. That doesn't appear to be the problem.

I bought a couple v260's (similar phone). Both had a high-pitched whine when making calls - but this went away in both phones after a few calls and hasn't come back.

when not making a call and you hear something, maybe it's the radio static in your house or you didn't get enough sleep the night before. 🤣

I just got my new v265 yesterday. I noticed the high pitched noise on my first call in a quiet area. Too bad, I hope they all aren't like that.

I've had my phone almost a week now and the high pitched noise that I heard on the first couple calls is now gone. I saw a couple other people post the same thing about the noise going away. I thought they were crazy but it is true. Mine now has a very quiet line when I talk. I don't know how or why, but I'll just be thankful and hope it doesn't come back.

I just got the V265 and notice the same high pitched noise. It is constant while the phone's case is open, regardless of whether the screen is on or not. I've used it quite a bit in the first day here and it seems to be persisting. Does anyone else have any more experience with this problem?
