v265 software questions/glitch?

After using this phone for a week and a half, my only complaint is software bugginess. Does anyone else have these problems: From when I turn on the phone until a signal is found, it can take up to 35 seconds. No other phone I've had takes that long. Is this normal for this phone? Is it just mine? Also, the software sometimes jams up if I move to fast from one command or application to another. It jams up, screen goes blank, and takes a up to a minute to recover and find a signal again. It only happens rarely, but still ... Seems like it's a flaw. Is it mine or have others experienced it on this phone? ANYONE?????

I haven't had software glitches on mine (received phone 3 days ago). In NYC, my phone took 11 seconds from power on to being ready to make a call. Maybe you should exchange the phone.

Funny thing is, this is my second v265, and both did the same thing. Hard to believe 2 in a row are bad, but certainly not impossible. Thanks for your input.

I have S/W version V26X_1.0.16.14P, PRL 50203, ERI 50019, H/W Rev.0.

Also, maybe NYC has more cell antennas?

But that would only explain the slow boot up time, not the software "jams".

Thanks again. I've got the identical software. And towers in Chicago here are great. Verizon's been great with my other phones. So, must be 2 bad phones in a row. Think I'll take it in and try for a third. FYI. I just turned my phone off and back on. This time it took literally 60 seconds from the button push until it actually found a signal. Definitely not good!

😛 Should have bought Audiovox 9900 while they lasted. Boot up time is 4 seconds to placing a call in NYC. This has nothing to do with towers, so it's a Moto 😉

My phone works fantastic.

Power up time is quick. It finds service in just a few seconds. It seems to connect a lot faster than my last phone (t730) as well.

I like it.
