Took it out and fooled around with it today at Radio Shack. It looks cool, but the screen is unclear and dim, almost as bad as the T730. Screen is very small as well. Pictures taken with it looked like crap. I was told the cost would be $49.99 with my “new in two.” I have always had Motos from my first Micro Tac and I really wanted to stick with Moto, but after seeing the Audiovox 9900 for free with “new in two,” I am going to have the go with it. I just hope it works as well as others are saying.

I'm going in on Friday to find a new phone. I plan on messing with the V265, CDM 9900, and whatever else is a Tri-Mode phone. I may be in the minority here, but the only complaint I had about the T720 is the battery life sucked. If the V265 adresses that than it's going to be the front runner. Just my .02.

As far as the Battery life between charges is concerned- compared to other moto phones, the v265's battery is 200% (if not more) better. For instance on my T720, after sending approximately 3 text messages, the battery was done. I've been going since friday morning (using the camera, text msging, and making calls) on a single charge and the battery is *still* 3/4 of the way full!!!
The cam on this phone takes horrible pics tho.

How is the speakerphone? I just bought a LG 6100, which is actually a very neat phone. The speakerphone is loud enough most of the time, but the tone quality is way worse than on my previous phone, LG200.

i have had the phone since saturday, i charged it fully around 8 pm sat night, and i just got the low battery indicator now monday at 2:30.
Not terrible, not amazing.

The more I use the LG 6100, the more I like it. I've had it five days, now. Great screen, friendly menu, and people hear me well in the Driving Mode. The speaker phone works well, although the sound quality is a little shrill compared to my old LG 2000. From what I've read on Phone Scoop, the 6100 probably beats out the V265 and the CDM 9900. Worth a look!

I'm glad you're having luck with an LG phone, but you're in the minority, my friend. Everyone I know that either currently or previously had an LG has had nothing but trouble. LG makes a couple of stylish/different looking phones, but when it comes to signal and call quality they fall way below par. I've had the misfortune of owning an LG 4400 for the last year and a half and can't wait to get rid of this thing. I swear the phone has a mind of its own. It powers itself on and off at random, the signal has multiple personalities (without moving the phone at all you can literally watch the signal indicator do somersaults from 1 bar to 5 bars to no signal from digital to analog and so on....ridiculous. Never again for me. I'm going to gi...
