Could it really be a "successor" if the 515 and 525 are quad-band, and the 535 is not? Maybe I'm being a bit pernickety...

Technically yes, It may not be quadband but it should work no porblem in US where it is being released. this isn't the first time they've gotten rid of a feature in a sucessor.
