So we got this phone in a couple of days ago and I had the chance to use it for an evening. Great things about the phone: large screen, video & camera are easy to use, picture ID, comes with some cool games and ring tones. James Bond theme song; what else can I say? Not so great things: if you miss a call (I did) you have to scan through something like 4 screens to get to the missed calls list, ditto for the voice mail (there may be a shortcut though). The huge screen can be blinding at night when you're riding in a car in the rain and trying to check your messages. It's really big too. Not for those "size conscious" consumers who think a phone should fit in a pack of cigs. All in all, not a bad buy. Available at Suncom (I'm sure) and...

I have the NEC 525 and I must say, this phone has disappointed me more than any other phone I have ever owned. Here are my problems with it and if for some reason I have missed something and the complaints have a solution that I didn't find (other than getting a new phone which I have already done), by all means let me know cause right now the only thing I use this phone for is a paperweight.
1) No speakerphone function
2) No REAL voicedialing function
3) No active flip (you have to open the flip and then press a button. Who would think that was a good thing?)
4) Screen hard to see in the daylight
5) Confused menu
6) No bluetooth.

I could forgive not having bluetooth if it just had a speakerphone and an activeflip funtion but no d...
