My local Cingular store here in Los Angeles tells me that they are just not moving the V3 and that everybody is waiting for a price adjustment. He thinks it will only come after the launch of the new SE 710A. Does anybody have any inside scoop as to when the price of the phone will drop?

Actually, LetsTalk.com has it for $389, free 2 day shipping, and just a 1 year contract. Even if Cingular lowers their price, your still stuck in a 2 year contract.

Once Cingular looses its 100 day exclusive, the price will drop. So if the phone was launched on or about the date of the Day one on the merger (Movember 15th), look for the price to drop around the end of February. Also, the top 100 Best Buys in the US will carry the phone. Look for some unbeatable deals here on a 2 year new activation!
I would assume that T-Mobile will want to carry the phone. This would be a question for them in their carrier forum.
