Why are we even having a price discussion??

The price is what it is. This is a super-sexy phone, easily the best looking phone on the market. It's the corvette of cell phones. Sure, it may not do much (as compared to other high priced cars like a Escalade), but you pay for the looks. It's expensive. Get over it. Companies charge if they know people will pay it. If sales are slow they will eventually lower the price. But good grief, stop complaining. We can't all afford everything. I would love to have a Corvette, but it's too high, and there is no real cheap alternative. High priced items are a part of life.

Actually, a Corvette IS a cheap alternative to a Ferrari. 🙂 It's a helluva lotta car for $45k.

But I still don't own one. Not that I couldn't, but I don't want one enough. If I did, I would. Not to impress anyone, but because it would make me happy to drive.

I wanted the V3, I paid my $500, I'm happy as a clam(shell).

Happy as a clam(shell) 🤣 🤣 🤣

I like that! How long have you had your V3? Curious about your first and later impressions. I am sold on it (have not received it as of yet) but would like your impressions. THX

I'm not a rep, but a customer, and I didn't want to buy an unlocked UK or Asian version. So, I waited until it was available at my local Cingular store (yesterday) and went right over and bought it.

So, limited data for you, but I realy do love it so far! Lightweight but still has the feel of being solidly built, REALLY sexy design that's also practical (I always hated how, the smaller the phone got, the further up your face the mic was), fits easily in a suit pocket without that "just happy to see you" bulge. Very intuitive interface, has some features I didn't have before (like it dials ext and password #s automatically after a pause, and you can turn off the ringer from the side volume control, you don't have to change to a different p...

Thanks for the information. I too wear suits (more like a uniform) and I was hoping that this form factor would be more compatible with the dress. I have had several Moto phones and liked the V710 display (same internal as V3) but I had issues with my V710 and went through 5 in a span of three months. Mostly an issue with Verizon's network and some with the V710. I loved the V710's features (many the same as the V3) however, Verizon chose to "cripple" the Bluetooth and that also became an issue. From what I've read and seen, this is not the case with the V3. I look forward with great anticipation to this phone. Thank you again for the info. 😁

I agree. I hate it when I walk into a store asking about this phone and the salespeople want to direct me to a free or cheap phone. If I asked for the V3, that's what I'm interrested in. Obviously money's not an object. 😁

remember that a LOT of the customers that come into cellphone stores nowadays have the word "FREE" coming out of their lips before you can say hello.

In the case of the Razr, I just ensure that the customer is aware of the price. If they're still interested they're welcome to buy it and I'll be happy to put the order in for them. (my store offers to order the phone for you after you've placed a $100.00 deposit on it to ensure that you're serious)
