I work for New Cingular (Formerly AT&T), we will have these phones as of Monday 11/15 also known as Day 1 of the merger. Not sure of the price yet, but expect it to be around $300-$500.

from what i understand. you have to switch to cingular before you can get either cingulars phones or cingulars plans.as of day one the at&t stores will be re branded and not doing buisness as at&t anymore, no new at&t phones no new at&t plans will be sold or strted.. if you want something new it has to be cingular branded..

this is what i was told when i spoke with telesales

Yes, all current AT&T customers will be eligible to upgrade to Cingular equipment as of Day 1. However you will have to take out a Cingular plan with a new contract as well. If you have a plan with AT&T that you love, you better keep it as long as you can, because you WILL have to change it upon the purchase of new Cingular phones.
